This should teach me to foolishly turn my back on the TV while ‘watching’ Columbo. (I have a habit of putting on DVDs as background noise while I’m writing. Music affects my mood and thus, the mood of the scene; listening to dialogue doesn’t do anything but occasionally make me type the wrong word)
Awkward Moment 1: When I originally turned away from my screen to boot up my netbook, a woman started immediately screaming and gasping. I actually had to look behind myself to see what had actually happened (A murder, naturally.)
Awkward Moment 2: While typing up a somewhat erotic scene, a man delivered this gem of a line: “Sorry, I don’t have a Willie.” I kid you not, verbatim, that’s exactly what he said.
(The episode in question here is “A Deadly State of Mind” in Season 4. A very good episode, but it certainly sounds like a different scenario entirely when you aren’t looking at the screen!)
It’s great fun picking out all these guest stars, and having almost nobody have any idea who they are.

The ‘matching’ jacket. Oh yes, he’s wearing those same pants.
Leonard’s wardrobe was seriously this awful.
But fantastic episode nonetheless.
