Dear WoW tanks:
Stop being fucking douchecanoes.
You are not indispensible. The fact that you are the one who guides the pulls does not give you the authority for any of the following dickish behaviours:
1. Skipping as many bosses in Halls of Origination as possible when people have asked you if you can do all of them. We all have shit to do IRL, we all have instances we don’t like, why don’t you suck it up like the rest of the players and do them?
2. Immediately pointing the finger at everyone else in the group when there’s a wipe. Very, very rarely is a wipe entirely one person’s fault, but it does happen, and you know what? Sometimes it’s you. Admit it and move the fuck on.
3. Ragequitting a group. For any reason. Honestly, this is not an okay practice for anyone to do, but tanks seem to be the ones who do it the most, and usually after pulling entire rooms of trash. Tantrums are for toddlers, grow the hell up.
4. Staging a sit-in - literally. I have had so many asshole tanks who sat down in the middle of an instance and refused to move because of some ~travesty~ that happened. Just because people are reluctant to votekick a tank doesn’t mean we won’t - again, grow the hell up.
5. Queue as a tank without having a tank spec, tank gear, or any knowledge of how to tank. Yes, I know the CTA goodie bag is alluring, but at least know what you’re doing before you queue as a tank.
Bonus Point: Feral Druids, stop queuing as healer unless you actually have a Resto offspec. This is not Wrath and you can’t heal a dungeon in its entirety with Regrowth.
